NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of said City invites and will receive sealed proposals (bids) up to the hour of 2:00 pm on February 1, 2022, for the furnishing to said City of all transportation, labor, tools, equipment, services, permits, utilities, and other items necessary to construct said work. At said time, said proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the office of the City Clerk:

NON-MANDATORY Pre-job walk will be held on January 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at 1015 Eleventh Avenue, Delano, California 93215.

General Description of Work:

The work involves 800 units of water meter installation services with City provided material to include the replacement of existing water meters with new meters and meter interface units, replacement of meter boxes and lids, replacement of water service lateral from the mainline to the meter, and the reconnection to the existing service.

Engineers’ Estimate: $650k to $750k.
