Construction is underway for Delano’s first spray park at Valle Vista Park. The spray park will be named “Posey Spray Park," in honor of Fred and Beulah Posey, who were the first black family to settle in Delano in 1926. The Posey Spray Park is funded by CDBG (Community Development Block Grant).
