Community Program
Located at our new Jefferson Center, our Senior Community program provide seniors nutrition education, health screenings, health insurance info, Zumba, arts & crafts, billiards, bingo, and potlucks. Other services are provided with volunteer help, donor contribution, and fundraising. Lunch is provided by Kern County Senior Nutrition Program.

Kern County Senior Nutrition Program
The Kern County Senior Nutrition Program provides qualifying low-income individuals with groceries/food bank assistance. View more information on Supplemental Food Assistance. Lunch meals are served at the Jefferson Center and deliveries are available to some households. 24-hour meal reservation is required. Monday reservations must be made on Friday.

Meals on Wheels
These home-delivered meals are available to persons 60 years or older who are homebound (by reason of illness, incapacitation, disability or isolation) and unable to leave their homes to participate in the congregate meals. View more information on Meals on Wheels.

Transportation
City of Delano Transit Department is available for one way or discounted rate round trip pick-up.
Dial-A-Ride Services Vehicles are wheelchair accessible for two wheelchairs. The service is a two-tiered service, which means other passengers utilize Delano Area Dial-A-Ride.
